Toy Poodle Field Guide

The Toy Poodle is a miniature version of the Standard Poodle, but don’t let their size fool you—these pups are packed with personality. This small dog breed not only has a big personality, but is also quite energetic. They are known for their sprightly demeanor and amenable attitude, so they are usually very eager to learn when it comes to dog training.

Being such an enthusiastic and lively breed, Toy Poodles need plenty of physical and mental exercise that gives them an outlet for all their energy.

Their coat is dense and curly and requires regular grooming to maintain. Without regular grooming and brushing, their shedding hair will get trapped and cause matting.

Toy Poodles don’t just come in white; there are also red Toy Poodles and black Toy Poodles. No matter the color, these pint-size poodles are great pets when provided with the proper care and exercise.
