Dr. Gallucci started her career in veterinary medicine as a kennel assistant in high school and began training as a technician in college. She received her undergraduate degree at Clemson University in Animal Sciences. After being a technician for a few years in Charleston, SC in emergency and day practice, she went on to Ross University to complete her graduate degree and receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She then moved to New York, where she continued to serve in day practice and emergency medicine for a few years until she met her husband and brought him back down to South Carolina to get married and start a family.
Once back in South Carolina, she worked in a day practice for 15 years taking care of several generations of pet patients and their owners. Dr. Gallucci attempted to leave veterinarian medicine to focus on her family and was not able to stay away for longer than 3 months. She began working for Chewy Connect With a Vet serving as a veterinary consultant to Chewy customers until she found her way back to emergency medicine in December 2021. In her free time, she enjoys helping her husband with his business, spending time with her family, serving her church, traveling and eating good food, and supporting the Clemson Tigers!
