Originally from central Pennsylvania, Dr. Rachel Whitesell studied German at Penn State University, then decided to pursue a veterinary degree. She completed her DVM at Michigan State University, and remained in Michigan as a small animal practitioner.

She enjoys reading, hiking, languages/culture, theater, and spending time with friends and family.
