Dr. Parker is a graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine (TUSVM) with over 25 years of experience spanning research, academia, corporate and private clinical practice. She has spoken nationally and internationally; served as a reviewer for multiple scientific veterinary journals; and previously owned and operated 2 small animal practices.

She enjoys art, history, traveling and music and has three very spoiled dogs, Milo, Sage and Shaggy.
