Revolt Topical Solution

This monthly medication protects cats against fleas (adult fleas and flea eggs), intestinal parasites, heartworms, and ear mites. While Revolt doesn’t offer tick protection, our vets recommend it as a budget-friendly product for pet parents of indoor-only cats.

“This is a great product for a pet parent on a budget who wants reliable prevention for their cat,” says Heather Zarrella, DVM. “This product does not cover ticks, so it wouldn’t be the best choice for an outdoor cat.”

Its active ingredient, selamectin, is the generic version of an antiparasitic used in more expensive treatments. “This product has great ingredients at a generic cost,” says Dr. Howe.

Make sure your cat is at least 8 weeks old and weighs at least 5.1 pounds before giving them this medication.
