Dr. Sophia Catalano

Dr. Catalano is a veterinarian, writer, and science fanatic. She earned her veterinary doctorate from Cornell University and her Bachelor of Science in molecular genetics from the University of Rochester. In addition to her veterinary training, she also performed biomedical research and studied history.  She currently works for a companion animal hospital in New York and loves helping people take the best care of their pets. Writing and sharing ideas is her passion, and she wants to make complicated scientific and medical topics interesting and available for everyone. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family and pets.
