  • 1. a nice teaching hospital

Staff is very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. Appointments are conducted by at least one veterinary student and a DVM will supervise. It is nice to be part of the learning experience, and you get to learn a little too. I got to see inside my rabbit's mouth so now I know what people are talking about when they mention "molar spurs"! Although it is a teaching hospital, it was a bit pricey in my opinion. I took my bunny in for a routine check-up, but I am sure they handle rarer species and special cases as well. Emergency services are available if your vet refers you or the animal has already been seen at the clinic.

    Pros

knowledgeable, opportunity to be part of educating future vets

    Cons

    a bit expensive
