  • 1. Kind and caring

We brought one of our cats here when we thought he had cancer. The staff were all very kind and sympathetic. The doctor (David Saylor) was kind and patient and took time to explain everything to us. Our cat had surgery; I called numerous times to check on him afterwards. The staff were always very understanding and never seemed annoyed by my frequent calls. The doctor who called with the biopsy results (negative!) took a lot of time to talk to me. All in all, a very positive experience during a difficult time.

    Very experienced vets

    by: hanakrosen

I drove all the way from Central PA to MD to see a specialist. I paid nearly 3,000 in services at VCA and still didn't know what was wrong with my dog. I saw Dr. Conway, an internal specialist, and she recommened doing numerous expensive procedures that didn't yield any conclusive results. She seems fixated on certain diseases and paid little attention to what I was telling her. It was difficult to make an appointment and to understand who I was there to see. I also spent all day at the facility wait around for our procedure to be completed. They seemed to care very little that I had driven for 3 hours and I could not simply leave my dog there and go home and come back whenever they decided they were finished. I will NEVER go to this facility again.
