  • 1. Who wants to go see Dr. Dorney?

    by: garijack

Dr. Dorney and his staff clearly love animals and do right by them. We took our first dog there in 1987 and have never ventured anywhere else. Growing up, my dogs hated to go to the vet so I didn't know that dogs could like vets until we found Summit Dog and Cat. To a one, all six of our dogs feel comfortable during their visits. In fact, if you ask our oldest dog if he wants to see Dr. Dorney, he runs to the door. Summit Dog and Cat has seen us through swallowed socks, tumors, hip surgery, tummy rashes, an eye infection, ear infections, sprained toes, arthritis, adoptees and puppies. And, when it was finally time to let go of that first dog, he stood there and cried with us.

    Pros

Boarding and Grooming also on the premises

    Cons

Exiting the parking lot can be a challenge during rush hour

I will drive an hour to go to this veterinary hospital. I have gone there with prior dogs and now continue on with Maizie.

Wonderful relationship with the veterinary staff

    Cons

A bit far from my home
