    by: jultant

I looked at alot of shelters when I was looking for a rescue dog. What I really liked about Peggy adams is that I could bring my dog and have her meet a potential sister/brother. It was nice to have a play area where they could see if they hit it off. So for me that was a great help.

    by: presres

I adopted three cats from this shelter and looked for a dog (but found one elsewhere) when I lived in Palm Beach County. I always found helpful, caring staff and found the adoption process easy to go through. And it was always easy to find the shelter in the "dome"!

    No Kill

    by: JoanneSchoch

I was fortunate enough to visit and recieve a full tour of this shelter. I was impressed with how knowledgeable each and every member of the staff was, no matter what their position there. The board of directors were forward thinking and looking to improve their shelter with the resources they have available.

Has great financial resources to help pets.

Unfortunately they are a euthanizing shelter.

    by: animalvoice

Shelter staff and volunteers state that this facility kills healthy cats and dogs daily. The cruelty that is taking place at this shelter must be stopped!!!

Word is getting out about Joan Radabaugh!

Healthy animals are killed by cruel director

    by: EmpressJacinda

This is a fantastic no kill shelter. The staff is commited to the animals well being, everyone is always very friendly and helpful. The animals are well cared for by people who are there for the animals not how much money they can make. They provide a lost cost spay/neuter program with microchipping to the public. If you'rein the west palm beach area you should definately check then out if your looking to adopt.

It's clean, the people are caring, the animals are WELL taken care of

Operating continuously since 1925, the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League has provided shelter to lost, homeless and unwanted animals. The shelter reaches out to the community to increase awareness and education to the problem of pet overpopulation. The shelter advocates animal welfare, community involvement and education to further the bond between people and animals, for the mutual benefit of both.
