  • 1. A great Place to Get a Pet!

    by: adelphigirl2006

I started looking to adopt a dog in september 2009. I looked into several places and in the beginning of October I went to the Nevada SPCA's website and fell in love with a puppy they had listed as available for adoption. When I went there, I found that the staff was friendly, caring and eager to help me. I adopted the puppy that day! The great thing about Nevada SPCA is that they care about the animals that get adopted. They give new pet parents food to take home with them as well as a dvd to help you train your new puppy. All their animals are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and given their vaccines, and you get a voucher for a free veterinarian visit for your new pet. I was also impressed by the fact that they made a follow up call a few weeks later to see how my puppy was doing in his new forever home. I would reccomend the Nevada SPCA in a heartbeat to anyone looking to get a new pet!

    Cons

can be a little confusing to find your way around inside
