  • 1. Outstanding faclities and animal care!

To say that I'm a supporter of this shelter is an understatement. I believe that the excellence that they bring to bear when it comes to care for the animals is the best one could imagine. These people have dealt with some horrific neglect and abuse cases in the last few years and are not afraid to invite experts from the community to help them. Every cage is always clean and every pet is well taken care of, the biggest thing I see that the shelter needs is volunteer dog walkers, lots of them! I have volunteered sporadically over the years and have been a baby feeder for them. I have found the staff helpful and when people come in to see the animals the staff is always very willing to offer support and information about the pets. They are in constant need of blankets, toys and treats. If you want to donate call Brett and ask what they need.

The animal care staff and volunteers are amazing and care deeply for the animals

Facility often needs baby milk, blankets, warmers and bottles donated for the baby feeders
