This is a really wonderful cat shelter. They are always trying to help people and cats. They are very caring and take care of all the cats as if they were their own!

They are very caring and they have a special section for cats with FIV and FILV. They also have a nice enclosed back yard for the cats to enjoy. Most importantly, it is a no kill shelter.

  • 2. Real No-Kill Cat Shelter

    by: Bluemoon298

ARAS is a no-kill cat shelter, they have about 200 cats and kittens. Visitors can socialize and play with cats in 5 different rooms and most cats can roam freely and get to know people in the big yard. They also have a separate big room for Felv/FIV cats that has a separated outdoor enclosure. ARAS has a very dedicated staff and they love their cats. It really is an amazing shelter.

  • 3. A place for cats

    by: debi321

All three of my cats came from ARAS and several others before them. This is a place for cat lovers to go and be surrounded by cats. This place is full of love for the animals and lots of good energy. They can always use people to help out, which is a fabulous way to spend an hour or two or three on a weekend afternoon. It can be difficult to head for home without bringing a new cat along

A place with heart and great intention

that there is a need for such a place

    by: wendyloooohooo

On a large scale, this group works tirelessly to assist cats of all shapes, sizes, and ages. A nice outdoor area and lots of cage-free space for kitties!!! They vaccinate and I appreciate the careful screening and pet care recommendations they make to adopting individuals.\r\nTHEY NEED FUNDS! Please help them. They've been around a long time and have dedicated people working on behalf of the shelter.

Careful screening on adoptions, work to place special needs kitties!
