A New Jersey camel has correctly predicted five of the past six Super Bowl winners. Her only misstep was two years ago when she picked the Indianapolis Colts over the New Orleans Saints. Proving even camels know it’s usually risky to bet against Peyton Manning.

Princess is the star of Popcorn Park Zoo in New Jersey, with a record this year of 14-6 regular season and playoff games, and a lifetime record of 88-51.

Her best season was 2008 when she went 17-5, including a correct Super Bowl pick in the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The way her picking works is that the zoo’s general manager, John Bergmann, writes the names of opposing teams on graham crackers and places one in each hand. Whichever hand Princess nibbles from is her choice.

"It started out when a local radio station was looking to have some fun, so they asked Princess who was going to win a particular game each week, and it just took off from there," Bergmann said. "Now we have guys calling up on Sunday morning wanting to know who Princess has picked that week. One guy even asked if she does lottery numbers."

In regards to this year’s upcoming match, Princess delivered some bad news to the New England Patriots on January 25. She ate from the New York Giants graham cracker hand with no hesitation.

However there are also two bottle-nosed dolphins residing at the Georgia Aquarium who correctly picked the AFC and NFC championship winners this season, and now they’ve chosen the Patriots to take it all in Super Bowl XLVI.

Looks like we’ll have to wait and see come Sunday, February 5, which animal is the ultimate clairvoyant.
