Hotel Pennsylvania Hosts 4th Annual Pet Writing Conference

What could be more fun than a ballroom full of pet industry writers? As it turns out, not much. The 2012 Business of Pet Writing Conference took place this past Saturday at the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York, bringing together industry leaders such as Charles Arcella of Petside, Susan Segrest of Vetstreet, and Betsy Saul of PetFinder.

The Pet Writing Conference, which was hosted by Charlotte Reed and sponsored by Greenies, Pet Food Institue, and Dyson, was also a platform to discuss hot topic issues such as animal hoarding, the mass sterilization of America's pets and kill and no-kill shelters.

And just as last year, the Pet Writing Conference took place at the Hotel Pennsylvania only days prior to the hotel's welcoming of thousands of canines for Westminster Kennel Club's Dog Show -- an exciting event for pet lovers in its own right.
