While mail carriers are used to encountering pets of all varieties during their routes, it is probably not entirely common for them to have a bait-and-switch pulled on them.

This past June, one mail carrier had two mischievous dogs sneak into her truck while she was delivering a package and steal some of her lunch. The two dogs, Bear and Bull, got an egg, some carrots and some pumpkin seeds before their plan was foiled by the mail carrier.

The mail carrier, Mary, worried about whether the food would upset the dogs’ tummies, so she left a note for their owner, Carol Jordan. The note stated, “Hey! I drove up to deliver a package and both of the dogs crawled in my truck. They got into my lunch and ate an egg and some carrots and pumpkin seeds. I don’t know if that will upset their tummies, just fyi!”

Much to the surprise of Carol Jordan, the mail carrier seemed more concerned about the dogs than her missing lunch. In response to the note, she wanted to show the mail carrier she was sorry, so she created a dog-shaming post for Instagram and Facebook to share what her naughty pups had been up to.

The post quickly went viral, with Bear and Bull’s antics providing people all over the world with a good chuckle.

Jordan followed up the dog-shaming post with another that showed how they repaid the mail carrier for her kindness and understanding.

Hopefully these two won’t be stealing any more lunches, but just in case, their human has created a Facebook page for them (Bear and Bull Jordan) that documents their adventures and naughty antics.
