Bil-Jac, an Ohio-based dog food and treat manufacturer, is voluntarily recalling one batch of 6 lb Adult Select Formula Dog Food due to possible mold contamination.

The recalled batch contained 256 cases and were of the batch number 1792-02 with an expiration date of Dec 27, 2013. Bil-Jac did not specify what type of mold but did state on its website that the reported contamination was caused by higher moisture content in the food.

Information on what to do with an affected bag of Adult Select Formula Dog if you have already purchased the product has not yet been given by Bil-Jac, but petMD will update this article as new information is available.
