Natura Pet has issued a voluntary recall for Karma branded dry dog food with expiration dates prior to June 10, 2014 due to potential Salmonella contamination.

The following product is included in the recall:

Brand: Karma

Size: All sizes

Description: Dry dog food


Lot Code (s): All Lot Codes

Expiration Date: All expiration dates prior to June 10, 2014

This recall does not affect canned products.

If you or your pet had contact with the recalled product, you are advised to watch for symptoms that may develop. Common symptoms associated with Salmonella poisoning include diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain. If you, your pet, or a family member, is experiencing these symptoms, you are urged to contact a medical professional.
