Q. I am pretty sure my 4 week old boxer puppy has a sinus bacterial infection. How can I cure without outrageous vet bill

Answered By

A. In my experience an animal so young has very little immune response meaning they almost always need help to cure respiratory infections. If you recently adopted your dog the seller may offer help with the bills. Respiratory problems in puppies commonly progress to pneumonia which can go well over 1-2 thousand dollars of hospital bills vs 40-80 dollars for antibiotics early on (which is where it seems to be from what you are saying). In short, waiting may very likely cost you significantly more money. Thanks for the question!
