Q. My dog only eats cat food and I compaired the ingredients and the ga of the food and they ar almost identacal so what is the harm in my dog eating it?

Answered By

A. A diet of cat food is too high in protein and fat and too low in carbohydrates for a dog. The dog will not get the proper nutrients from cat food. She won't get enough zinc and Vitamin E, and will get too much taurine. It is best to keep her away from the cat food altogether and feed a good quality commercial dog food;.
