Q. My 5 1/2 year old dog has been completely destroying the entry way to the house, since we moved out, when we leave. Any advice would help.

A. It is important to understand that any negative behavior that is not corrected as it happens is likely to be repeated again and again. You need to keep the dog away from the area, by means of a crate if necessary, when you can't watch him. If you catch him in the act, give him a sharp "NO!" and remove him to another part of the house.
