A. I wish I knew how old your dog is, because what you are describing sounds as if it could be Canine Cognitive Dysfunction, or a type of "doggy Alzheimer's." It tends tro occur in older animals (and "older" varies by breed/combination of breeds). You may notice other signs such as general slowing down, a bit of confusion, not responding (as you noted), etc. I would bring her to the vet for a physical and neurological exam. Help may be available if she does have this condition.
