Q. My 6 month old Miniture labrodoodle Ears are red, swollen, and have some kind of black crust on the inside. Is there any natural ways to treat this?

Answered By

A. It's unlikely that there's a natural way to treat this, since it sounds like either ear mites or a fungal ear infection. Both of these conditions need prescription drugs. You can clean the ears with a dilute solution of white vinegar and water (1 part vinegar, 9 parts water) but what you're describing is very indicative of an actual infection, either parasitic or fungal, and cleaning will only be temporary. Please seek veterinary attention for this.
