Q. My 8 yr female dog (she is fixed) is acting different. Scared, shaky, hiding. Does not let me hold.A lil reddish on her stomach. What can be wrong?

A. Shaking and hiding can be signs of pain, or severe abdominal discomfort. The red skin you are noting could be an allergic reaction. It's sounds like something is making her uncomfortable, whether it's something she's eaten or she's sustained an injury. I recommend getting her checked out immediately to figure out what's going on and what to do about it.
