Q. The lymph nodes in the neck area and left shoulder area are swollen. She ate cat feces 5 days ago Eats great, energetic few flea bts but on comfortis

Answered By

A. I doubt the lymph node enlargements are related to the ingestion of the cat feces or the fleas, and I encourage you to get this checked out with your vet as soon as possible. Lymph node enlargement, especially when there are multiple nodes enlarged, is usually the sign of a systemic disease, and lymphoma (cancer of the lymph nodes) is always a concern in middle age and older dogs. Get her checked out immediately.
