A. I think you're already on to the treatment for this case. Sounds like a bum issue (those dreaded anal glands). You could try a groomer to express them but if the behavior keeps up might try the vet next time. Some dogs have trouble naturally expressing them so make sure whichever food you feed him makes nice firm poops.
