A. Aloe jelly can be used topically but if ingested is toxic, so there is risk in using it. I wouldn't recommend it personally. I would recommend putting an e-collar (the cone of shame) on your dog to stop the licking and chewing as this can only make the problem worse. I would recommend having her seen by a vet to find out the source of the problem. If may just be an anal glad causing some grief which can easily be expressed by the vet, or possibly some type of infection.
