A. This is pretty hard to answer but I'm going to try anyway. If your kitty hasn't been there too long, it's possible he was trying to go to the bathroom and just wasn't done so he went back, as long as he seems normal otherwise. You'll have to keep an eye on him and make sure he isn't having any difficulty eliminating.
