Q. Hello our 8 month old chocolate lab is suffering from redness in right eye. Not sure if something is in there (we tried to flush) what to do??

Answered By

A. Red eyes can be from over exertion, tiredness or irritation/infection. If you flushed the eye, hopefully anything irritating it was removed. If it doesn't improve and seems to be bothering him still I would have it looked at. Eye injuries should be treated as potentially serious just because of their sensitive nature, so a vet check may be required. He may just need some drops/antibiotics
