Q. I have 5wk puppy, the runt, Pitt(mom)/Rott.-G.perinease(Dad). Her left eye looks like it is inside out. Is this birth defect or something else?

A. I think you might mean that part of the eye lid is flipped out? If this is in the corner and a red but of tissue it could be cherry eye. This can need special eye drops to prevent irritation but needs to be surgically corrected. I would have a consult with a vet about what needs to be done in this case
