Q. I have a 5 year old cat that weighs 5 pounds. She has not been fixed because she is so small and an indoor cat. She has been leaking while sleeping.

Answered By

A. If you mean by leaking that she is leaking urine this would indicate a urinary issue like infection, crystals, bladder stones etc. This requires immediate vet attention.

If she is leaking a discharge she may have a uterus infection. This would likely be a smelly discharge and required vet attention. She may need anti-biotics and the vet may advise to have her spayed.
