Q. My cat only drinks from the fish bowl. Is it safe and how can I get her to stop? Thanks.

A. Cats really like moving water and fresh water. Lots of cats prefer to drink from toilets, glasses etc. I would make sure you have a ceramic bowl for your kitty's water or even try one of those pet fountains. I would just block access to the fish tank as nothing else will stop her.

Its probably not terrible for her, but not good either

A. The only way to avoid this would be to move the fish bowl to a place she can't reach. It's not a big issue though, I would say it's more of a health problem for you fish rather than your cat.
