Q. Adopted a pt that was an outside dog he is inside now and is fed diamond naturals. When he has a chew bone his gas is house clearing not just room.

A. It could take some time to adjust to the new food if he wasn't eating this before. Chewing on bones can create a protein overload and the stomach may (re)act in different ways, flatulence being one. I would suggest trying antlers as a chew. They are expensive compared to bones but last longer.

You may also consider changing foods to see if this helps.
