Q. My cat just peed on my bfs & my wall in our apartment. She has never done this before. Could it possibly be cause her litter box had stuff?

Answered By

A. Litter box issues can be caused by many things: marking territory, behavioral, because their box is full/dirty/don't like the type of litter or style of box, etc but you should always rule out a medical reason first, before exploring these other triggers. Cats are prone to urinary crystals, bladder stones and UTI. I would have her checked by the vet to rule this out before considering why else she may be doing this.
