Q. My dog is eating dirt and poop and she snaps at us if we try to stop her. She will whine to go out just to eat dirt. She's been acting strangely

A. This is a condition called Pica, and in my experience is due to nutritional deficiencies in most cases. I would be happy to consult with you about this topic, but I will need a format where I can ask you specific questions about your dog, and dog food. I have also had a lot of good outcomes using chinese veterinary herbs to reduce this urge as well, but primarily I find they are lacking some major vitamins and minerals in their diet.
