Q. Hey my cat is almost one year old he's a male and i've found some blood in the litter box and I cant afford to take him to the vet what should I do ?

Answered By

A. I suspect your cat has urinary crystals that have possibly developed into urinary stones. If I am correct in this, it is considered a medical emergency in males cats as it can obstruct their ability to urinate. Usually crystals form due to diet. The pH of the urine is too high. If your cat has urinary crystals, the solution is a prescription diet that can help dissolve the crystals.
