Q. My cat is 9 months old and has not been neutered yet he is a tom. He got into a fight and his ear was bleeding what should I do, he is eating okay

Answered By

A. It sounds like he should be neutered to prevent occurrences like this in the future. Although ears bleed a lot, they do heal, often misshapen when not surgically repaired. Cat wounds often get infected as well, so antibiotic treatment would be prudent. My recommendation would be to have him neutered asap, and while under sedation they can clean and repair his ear and give him an antibiotic injection.
