Q. Blandness on sides of body top of thighs and chest in spayed female yorkie poodle for 5 years now and continues to increase. What treatment is needed?

Answered By

A. She should be examined by a vet to determine the exact cause. She could have allergies or an endocrine disease ( hypothyroidism, Cushing's disease). Your vet can run bloodwork, if needed, to help diagnose the problem. Once a diagnosis is made, the appropriate medication can be prescribed to help treat the problem.
