Q. Chihuahua 15yrs old she has a fleshy ball type protrusion coming out of her vagina.it dont seem to bother her she urinates fine what should I do

Answered By

A. It sounds like it is probably a growth or tumor. It may be benign or malignant and your veterinarian should look at it and decide if it is recommended at her age to undergo surgery. If it is very small, not bleeding or causing any urinary issues, it is possible that they may recommend just monitoring it for now. This does not sound like an emergency, so I would suggest making an appointment during normal business hours when it is convenient for you in the upcoming week.
