Q. How much do vets usually charge to drain the glands?

Answered By

A. I don't think you will find one standard fee. You would have to contact each vet to hear their pricing. Some will require an office visit charge or exam charge in addition to the anal sac expression fee. You can also contact a reputable groomer to inquire about their fee to do the procedure. I would guess that most would charge anywhere from $15 to $30 plus an exam fee at some practices.
