Q. My cat walks with her head slightly tilted to one side , it doesn't seem to throw her off balance or anything but I just want to know why?

Answered By

A. It may be a vestibular sign. Vestibular system is that body system in charge of maintaining her balance right. Most common cause of vestibular system abnormality in cats is a peripheral vestibular system problem in cats is called otitis media/interna (inflammation/infection of the inner or middle part of her ear canal on one side). Unfortunately many other causes are possible and the problem needs to be appropriately identified and treated by your veterinarian with a check up.
