Q. Can you use Vicks Vapor in a vaporizer for a cat with a cold

Answered By

A. Balsamic action and smell would be too powerful for the hypersensitive nose of cat ( and for a dog as well!!). You can actually provoke more damage to the upper airways than benefits, so I would strongly recommend not to use Vicks vapor at all.

Make sure you keep the nose and eyes of your cat clean from dry discharge with a swab moistened with room temperature water. Antibiotics may be needed as well.
