Q. My dog has a lump on the right side of her abdomen region and I'm wondering what it could be?

Answered By

A. Thanks for your question. It could be anything from a benign lump (caused by an inflammation or a benign tumor like a lipoma) or something more serious.

The only way to have more informations about it would be to have a feel during a consultation. Your veterinarian may be able to tell you straight away what it is by looking at it or it may need more investigations. Usually an FNA (fine needle aspiration) or a biopsy would be the following steps.
