Q. Miniature pincher regurgitated evening meal last night, morning meal this morning. No blood. Active, no dehydration. Played in poison oak

Answered By

A. As a first step recommendation I would suggest to starve her for the next 8 -12 hours and then start feeding her again with a bland diet based on chicken and rice (boiled) in small portions every 4-6 hours.

If the signs persist or she is showing other signs like diarrhea, inappetence, lethargy I would recommend to take her to your veterinarian for a check up.

Dogs rarely get poison oak, but this is not because they are immune; their fur protects them.
