Q. My puppy have bald spots I think it's from ticks or fleas because I seen it on her

Answered By

A. Usually tick or fleas do not cause bald spots but they could be due to scratching or biting. Other kind of dermatitis ( parasitic, fungal for example ) can more likely be responsible for the signs you described. More investigations then are needed and I would recommend to have her checked by your veterinarian.

A. For every flea you see on your puppy there are many more in the environment. You need to get some flea preventative for puppies from your vet or a pet store. Also vacuum your house frequently and put flea powder in the vacuum cleaner bag to kiil the fleas and their larvae vacuumed up. Your pupply likely needs to be wormed as well and it is time for first vaccinations.
