Q. the vet said my dog has periodontal infection they gave him clavamox but he still has bad breath and he is done with the medication can it be somethi

Answered By

A. Periodontal infection can be caused by a periodontal disease, just like with us the gums can get inflamed because of tartar deposit between the teeths and gums, in dogs this condition tend to be much more extreme and can cause serious problems. If the antibiotic treatment did not solve the problem, scale and polish + possible extractions might be the next step.
