Q. I am retired, play with my kitten alot and also tried late feedings, nothing works, at midnight he wont settle down.

A. most cats tend to be nocturnal creature rather than day ones, kittens can be especially exhausting when young, they do calm down with time though. I would avoid late feeding as he might actually get too much energy just before you want him to settle down! do feed trough the day though so he's not hungry at night. He will probably wake you up quiet early in the morning though :). Don't worry, be patient, learn to ignore him when it's needed, he will get better with time.
