Q. My dog has this firm whiteish bump on his back kind of looks like a pimple in a way. He seems to not like it when I touch it. What could it be?

Answered By

A. it could be an infection of the hair follicle or just furunculosis (small pus filled infection), both of them could be painful when touched, sometimes it's possible to just squeeze the pus out but the problem might come back. Usually a topical antibiotic cream can solve this problem, consult your vet about an adequate prescription ointment for dogs.
