Q. My kitten is 6 months old and she has been fixed.. But she goes around the house like she is in heat. No blood ,she spreads her legs. ??

A. Some cats can sometimes look in heat even after they have been fixed (although most don't). The real test is to see if she lets males mount her.

If she does, it's a sign that she has not been fixed properly, it happens sometimes that the vet leaves a very small piece of ovary by mistake and this can cause the cat to get in heat.

There is a blood test to check this "remnant ovary" syndrome, if you are not sure you could request it from your vet.
