Q. Dog has small bump around vaginal area. Looks like a bug bite or small hemorrhoid. She keeps rubbing it on the carpet so I'm assuming it's itchy.

Answered By

A. It might be an insect bite, flea bite or an allergic reaction. If it is very itchy she might need some medication to stop her from itching.

Your vet could either give her an injection or pills, there is also a very good prescription spray to stop local itchiness called "cortavance"
